FRIED PIES & BROWNIES

. My grandmother began in the 1930's with the family's secret recipe of brownies and fried pies here in Memphis, Tennessee. This recipe has been passed down in the family now for generations from my grandmother to my mother and then to me Charles Gammon, owner of Mamie's Desserts.

 The homemade fried pie is a dying art.  My family's recipe includes all natural ingredients.  And the pie crust is a trade secret but delicious!
